Jiangtao Luo

Prof. Luo Jiangtao was born in 1971 and received his B.S. from Nankai University in Tianjin, China. Then in 1998, He received the Doctor's degree in engineering from the Shanghai Institute of Optics & Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Science. Currently, he is a full professor, PhD supervisor and deputy Dean of the Electronic Information and Networking Research Institute at Chongqing University of Posts & Telecommunications (CQUPT).

His current major research interests are future Internet architecture, network data mining, visual big data analysis and satellite internet. He has published more than 150 papers, authored two books and owned 30 patents in these fields, actively participated in paper reviewing and conference organizing. He was awarded the Chinese State Award of Scientific and Technological Progress in 2011, the Chongqing Provincial Award of Scientific and Technological Progress twice in 2010 and 2007, respectively, and the Chongqing Science and Technology Award for Youth in 2010.

Professor Luo is serving as a council member of the China Institute of Communications and the Chinese Institute of Electronics and also vice chairman of the Chongqing Institute of Electronics. He has served as reviewer for many important journals and conferences, such as TCOM, TNSE, CL etc.. He has been IEEE Senior Member since June 2015 and ACM member since Nov 2013.
